Grammy Award-winning gospel
singer CeCe Winans (Everlasting Love, 1998) is the
sister of Grammy Award-winning gospel/R & B singer BeBe Winans.
In addition to their highly successful solo efforts, the siblings released nine
albums together from 1984-2009. Singer/actor Marvin Winans (2009's I
Can Do Bad All by Myself) is CeCe and BeBe's brother. He has also appeared
on the TV seriesTyler Perry's House of Payne. Along with his brothers Carvin
Winans, Michael Winans, and Ronald Winans, Marvin
was part of the quintet music group The Winans. The Winans released their first
album, Introducing the Winans, in 1981. These singers are six of the ten
children born to gospel singing parents David Winans and Delores
Winans. The couple recorded music together under the name Mom and Pop
Winans and garnered two Grammy nominations. After "Pop" passed away in 2009,
Delores continued to record on daughter CeCe's record label, PureSprings
Gospel. CeCe's children, Ashley Love and Alvin Love
III, appeared in the BeBe & CeCe Winans music video for the song "If
Anything Ever Happened to You," and Alvin III was featured again in the music
video for the song "Well, Alright." CeCe was a close friend of fellow
nepotistic star Whitney Houston, and the two had a hit in 1996 with
the single "Count on Me."
