Dan Quayle's Son
Ben Quayle
On November 2, 2010, political newcomer Ben Quayle was elected to Congress in Arizona's 3rd District.  No doubt he was helped by name recognition and the continued popularity of his father, Dan Quayle, former Vice-President under George H. W. Bush. In fact, it was his father who announced Ben's candidacy on a TV talk show. The younger Quayle drew media attention by running campaign commercials calling Barack Obama "the worst president in history."  During his first term, Ben was named the most conservative member of the House by the National Journal. Due to redistricting, Quayle will face a fellow incumbant in the August 2012 Republican primary.
