1980s "Brat Pack" actress Ally
Sheedy (WarGames, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire)
is the daughter of prominent literary agent Charlotte Sheedy, who played Ally's mother in the 1995 film One
Night Stand. Ally got her start as a child author. Her first book, She
Was Nice to Mice, became a bestseller in 1975 when Ally was only 12-years-old.
Ally's brother Patrick
Sheedy has worked as an accountant, producer, and/or production manager for
several projects, including The Last of the Mohicans (1992) and Dead
Man Walking (1995). Patrick was the executive producer for 1997's The
Definite Maybe and line producer for 2003's A Good Night to Die, both
of which Ally appeared in.
In 1992, Ally married David Lansbury (1997's Michael Clayton),
the son of producer Edgar Lansbury and nephew of actress Angela
Lansbury. Ally and David appeared together in the 1994 TV movie Parallel
