Twin actresses (and moguls) Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen rocketed to fame playing the role of pint-sized cutie "Michelle Tanner" on hit series Full House (1987-1995). They shared the role for eight years (making it easier for shooting schedules to comply with child labor laws). After the series, the sisters acted together in movies and TV, but it was through their branded merchandise and other ventures that they built a combined net worth of $100 million. Together, they are the owners of DualStar, a production company that made all of their film and TV projects, video games, etc. They also have several fashion lines together. In 2000, they jointly released their biography, and in 2008, they co-wrote a book about their experiences in the fashion industry, titled Influence. They made their last onscreen appearance together in the 2004 movie New York Minute. Mary-Kate had a recurring role on TV's Weeds as "Tara Lindman" in 2007, and appeared in 2011's Beastly, while Ashley has chosen not to continue her acting career. Mary-Kate and Ashley's younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, got her start by appearing in a number of her older sisters' videos. In 2011, she received critical acclaim for her starring role in Martha Marcy May Marlene. She now has multiple projects in the pipeline. The girls' brother, Trent Olsen, also appeared in several of Mary-Kate and Ashley's films.
