Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin's father, Kit Culkin, was an actor who had small roles in such 1950s movies as West Side Story. Macaulay's brother, Kieran Culkin, appeared alongside his brother in both Home Alone movies, and was also in both Father of the Bride films. Since then he has appeared in movies such as She's All That, The Cider House Rules, and Igby Goes Down. Their brother Rory Culkin is an actor, too. Rory played the younger version of Macaulay in 1994's Richie Rich, and appeared in Igby Goes Down with Kieran. For an extensive family photo album, visit Kit's official website at www.kitculkin.com.
On December 10, 2008, Macaulay and Kit's sister Dakota Culkin was tragically killed at the age of 29 when she stepped off a curb and was struck by a car in Los Angeles. Dakota had been doing her first behind-the-scenes filmwork as an art production assistant on the independent film Lost Souls.
In 2009, Rory and Kieran appeared together in the film Lymelife, which also starred a number of other actors with nepotistic connections, including Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon, Timothy Hutton, Emma Roberts, and the Martini brothers.
