Actor Timothy Hutton is the son of actor Jim Hutton, star of 1960's Where the Boys Are and TV's Ellery Queen. The family resemblance is obvious in these photos: On the left we see 20-year-old Timothy in 1980's Ordinary People, his breakout role for which he won the "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar. On the right is Jim Hutton in his early 30s, in the 1967 farce Who's Minding the Mint? The elder Hutton died of cancer in 1979 at the age of 43, the year before his son's Oscar triumph.
In 2009, Timothy appeared in the film Lymelife, which also starred a number of other actors with nepotistic connections, including Alec Baldwin, Cynthia Nixon, the Martini brothers, Emma Roberts, and Rory and Kieran Culkin.
