Former Black Sabbath rock front man Ozzy Osbourne met wife Sharon Osbourne when she was working for her father, Don Arden, the band's manager at the time. Sharon would later become Ozzy's manager after he was fired from the band in 1979, which was also when the two began dating. Sharon helped Ozzy launch a very successful solo career. Ozzy and Sharon, along with their children Kelly and Jack, starrred on the Emmy Award-winning MTV reality show The Osbournes from 2002-2005. The family also had a cameo in 2002’s Austin Powers in Goldmember film. Since then, Sharon has appeared as a judge on TV talent shows such as The X Factor and America’s Got Talent, and as host of VH1’s Rock of Love: Charm School. Kelly Osbourne is a singer who released her debut album Shut Up! in 2002. Kelly has recorded duets with her father (“Changes”) and Cyndi Lauper (“Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”) in addition to a brief role on Broadway in the musical Chicago. In 2009, Kelly competed on Dancing with the Stars, finishing in third place. Beginning in 2011, Kelly joined the panel of E!'s Fashion Police series. Jack Osbourne has worked as an A&R scout for Epic Records and appeared in a number of TV shows, including Dawson’s Creek, That 70s Show, and The X factor. In January 2009, during the taping of the reunion special of VH1’s Rock of Love: Charm School, Sharon Osborne had a a physical altercation with a former contestant. The less than "charming" fight occured after perpetually bikini-clad cast member Megan Hauserman began hurling insults at Sharon, implying that she is only a celebrity because of her husband's celebrity status. Sharon responded by pouring a drink on Hauserman and allegedly pulling out half of her hair weave, among other minor injuries. A police report was subsequently filed by Hauserman, but the police did not file charges at the time.
In June 2012, Jack announced
his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. His family, including fianceé Lisa
Stelly, rallied around him and publicly announced their support. Jack and Lisa
welcomed their first child, daughter Pearl Clementine, on April 24,2012.
