Jim Henson, the writer/producer of groundbreaking puppetry series The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock, is the father of (with wife Jane Henson), Brian Henson, Lisa Henson, Heather Henson, Cheryl Henson, and John Henson. Brian, who appeared on the very first episode of Sesame Street, has carried on his late father's love of puppetry by working as a producer/writer/director. Some of his credits include the TV films It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie (2002) and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz (2005), as well as the 2011 film Fraggle Rock: The Movie. Lisa is a producer who also worked on The Muppets' Wizard of Oz and Fraggle Rock: The Movie. Heather appeared in Tales from Muppetland: The Frog Prince (1971), The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984), and worked as a crew member on the series Muppets Tonight from 1996-1998. Cheryl appeared in the 1979 TV movie John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together, and worked as a crew member on two episodes of The Muppet Show in 1980. John has voiced the character of "Sweetums" in muppet movies since 1991. Jim's wife, Jane, starred in the 1962 TV movie Tales of the Tinkerdee, which was written by/starred Jim (who voiced "Kermit the Frog"), as well as various other muppet movies.
