Late, legendary Academy Award-winning actor Charlton Heston (1956's The Ten Commandments, 1959's Ben Hur, 1968's Planet of the Apes) is the father of writer/director/producer Fraser Clarke Heston, who debuted as the infant Moses in The Ten Commandments. Fraser and his father co-directed the 1982 film Mother Lode, which was written and produced by Fraser and which starred his father. The father-son duo worked together again on the TV movies Treasure Island (1990) and The Crucifier of Blood (1991), as well as on the 1996 film Alaska. Fraser later produced the 2003 animated version of Ben Hur, for which his father reprised his starring role by providing the voice of the title character. Actress Lydia Clarke, Fraser's mother and Charlton's first and only wife, appeared alongsidge Charlton in several films, including The Greatest Show on Earth (1952), Bad for Each Other (1953), and Will Penny (1968).
