Dana Andrews was one of the top stars of the 1940s, with memorable roles in 1941's Ball of Fire, 1943's The Ox-Bow Incident, 1944's Laura, and 1946's The Best Years of Our Lives, which won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture. Dana was the older brother of actor Steve Forrest, who was born William Forrest Andrews. Steve won the Golden Globe for Best New Actor for 1953's So Big, then went on to a lengthy career of mostly supporting roles in movies like The Longest Day (1962), North Dallas Forty (1979), and Mommie Dearest (1981). He is best known to television audiences as the lead in the mid-70s cop show S.W.A.T.
