Kim Kardashian and family on their lucrative E! reality show
Khloe and hubby Lamar Odom's fragrance, "Unbreakable"

Socialite and actress Kim Kardashian (Dancing with the StarsDisaster Movie, Drop Dead Diva) is the daughter of late O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian. Kim's mother, Kris, is now married to former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner. Kim, her mother, stepfather Bruce, and five siblings star on the E! reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Bruce's son from a previous marriage, Brody Jenner, appeared regularly on the MTV reality show The Hills, and also starred on the short-lived reality show The Princes of Malibu. Brody's stepfather is famous record producer David Foster.

On September 27, 2009, sister Khloe Kardashian made headlines when she married L.A. Laker Lamar Odom after dating only one month. The two began filming their made-in-reality TV-heaven marriage for Khloe and Lamar, which first aired in 2011. That same year, Kim married NBA player Kris Humphries in a lavish, multi-million dollar ceremony that was-naturally-televised for a two-part TV special. The marriage lasted all of 72 days, leaving Kim to fend off accusations that the entire relationship had been a sham perpetuated for the money and publicity, although the heated divorce battle suggests that it was very real indeed. The quickie marriage and subsequent demise were chronicled on 2011's Kim and Kourtney Take New York.

Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe launched a clothing and accessories line in 2011, the Kardashian Kollection, which is sold at Sears department stores nationwide. Their half-sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, are aspiring models, who appeared with their manager mom, Kris, on an episode of America's Next Top Model in 2012. Brother Rob Kardashian appeared on the 2012 season of Dancing with the Stars, placing second, and announced he is preparing to launch his own line of dress socks.

In the summer of 2012, Kim took to real acting, guest-starring on several episodes of the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva, playing a juice bar employee with dating advice.

I was wondering why this show was on and what was so special about these people. Now I know. Nepotism rears its ugly head again. I don't watch the show but now I'll make sure none of my friends do either.
