Actress Blake Lively (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Gossip
Girl) is the daughter of actor/director/producer Ernie Lively and talent manager Elaine Lively. Blake's first role was in the 1998 movie Sandman,
which was directed by her father. Blake also appeared in 2006's horror/thriller
film Simon Says, which her father produced. Ernie then played Blake's
father in 2005's The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and 2008's
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Elaine and Ernie both voiced
characters in the 1993 video game Return to Zork.
Blake's brother Eric Lively is an actor who played
"Albert" in American Pie and "Carey Bell" on the Disney Channel series So
Weird. Eric has appeared in several other TV series, and played "Roger
Taylor" in the 2008 TV movie 24.
Blake's older half-brother, Jason Lively, (Elaine's son from her
first marriage) is an actor ("Rusty Griswold" in 1985's European Vacation,
1986's Night of the Creeps) who also voiced a part in Return to Zork.
Lori Lively, Blake's older half-sister, is a character actress
who first appeared with Blake in Sandman, and again in her stepfather
Ernie's film Simon Says. She also appeared with her brother Jason in Night
of the Creeps.
Another half-sister to
Blake, Robyn Lively, is a character
actress whose biggest role was starring in the 1989 film Teen Witch. Robyn
appeared alongside her stepfather Ernie on the 1991 ABC Afterschool Special, The
Less Than Perfect Daughter. Robyn also appeared with Blake and Lori in Simon
Says, as well as acting in the TV series Savannah (1996-1997) and George
& Leo (1997-1998). Robyn had roles in several episodes of other series,
too, such as Twin Peaks, Doogie Howser, M.D., and Chicago Hope.
