Adam Farrar, who appeared in 2000's Pups and B.B.C., is the stepbrother of Titanic superstar Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo's father, George DiCaprio (Adam's stepfather from his second marriage) was the art director of 1984's Du-beat-e-o. George and Irmelin DiCaprio (Leo's mother) divorced in 1975, when Leo was one, and then shared custody. Leo and Adam lived together part-time.
Irmelin was a producer of 2007's The 11th Hour, in which Leo starred. She also appeared as an extra in Leo's films Total Eclipse (1995), The Beach (2000), and Blood Diamond (2006).
Interestingly, Adam started his acting career first, but took three years off to join the Army, during which time Leo's career took off. Adam is credited with helping create and launch the website leonardodicaprio.com for his younger stepbrother.
Adam's grandfather, Stanley Farrar, was a character actor from the late 1940s to the late 1960s.
